    I apologize if this has been asked before, but has anyone confirmed who is holding up the BEC scores – is it the AICPA or NASBA?

    Hey guys,

    I had read somewhere, that to pass you have to score “stronger” in two areas, not sure if that really holds any salt..but I thought I would throw that out there……..

    I am from MN and I just checked the “Application Status” on the NASBA site and this is what it says “All or some section(s) of your Notice to Schedule (NTS) have been attended and scores have been received. The score(s) reported generated a notice to be mailed to you”. However, I can't view the scores online. Will they post the scores online or do I need to wait for them to be mailed to me. I can call and ask them but would have a nervous breakdown when the person on the other line would be verbally telling my score. Want to avoid that. What should I do? Btw, I am waiting on AUD and BEC.

    That's definitely not true. None of my passing scores have two “stronger's” – they have many comparables though.

    B - PASSED
    A - PASSED
    R - PASSED
    F - PASSED

    @Geemoney713, @yankeeaccountant

    How do you know if you are “comparable”, “stronger”, or “weaker” when you pass? I have never received a break down when I have passed a test, just if I have failed.

    @geemoney,

    I see. Well, that blows that theory. Here is an excerpt from an email a friend sent me that she received from Gleim:

    The new Diagnostic Report that can be given to candidates who have failed a section can also be used as an indicator on performance. It is important to note that candidates generally need to be “Stronger” in more than one Content Area to pass the CBT-e Exam. At the meeting, NASBA reported that in two cases, candidates who were rated as “Comparable” in all but one Content Area (in which they were rated as “Stronger”) received failing scores.

    Not really sure if this was a personal email to her or if it was a mass mailing. But this is where I had gotten it.

    another question–how do you get the detailed report when you have a passing score? I haven't gotten one…..

    Thanks!

    I called NASBA last night inquiring about my BEC score and he said I didn't have a score posted yet. He said he had an e-mail that the remaining scores would be coming out Monday. Has anyone else tried calling NASBA 1-800-CPA-EXAM to see what they are saying about the remaining scores?

    @cpa2010tn

    me too. I haven't gotten one on a passing–it was my understanding that they send one only on failing. But maybe each state is different. I am in Tn also.(I think you are too, right?)

    Thanks jtvandendri. So they should post the score online (hopefully by today) under the “Scores” tab right? Mine is a 448 NTS. This waiting process has been giving me nightmares!!

    I still haven't received AUD or REG and I have my BEC test next weekend. This blows! I will get my score next week but I am debating on looking at either one. I feel I may have passed AUD and if I didn't I would be totally bummed. I am afraid that would mess up my concentration for BEC. Should I hold out the 5 days and look at it after my test?
