I know how tempting it is to want to switch review courses. I received a 74 on BEC last testing window and just about broke down and bought Roger for my May retake. However, after seeing what Roger wanted to charge for an admin fee I thought ‘forget that!' and decided to keep trucking along with the Becker materials – and best decision I could have ever made.
I think candidates are tempted to switch review courses very easily because we want to pass these exams SO bad. However, Yaeger, Roger, Becker, etc. are all reputable review courses and people who have taken each of these will attest to the fact that it worked for them. My recommendation would be to take a hard look at how you study, and if Becker fits your learning style. If so, I'd buck up and have a few more long dates with those books and save yourself money. Based on your score being close to what you need, I'd say something must have worked well. Perhaps instead of buying an additional review course, you could explore Becker's final review. That product alone was the difference between my 74 & 80 – the only thing I did different.
Keep you head up, and take a look at how you studied. I would evaluate things from there and determine if you need to change your review course or not. Best of luck to you!
