I made up a new meaning for an old word, “scorcher”: waiting for CPA exam scores.

Ok guys – I need a little advice. I just failed REG with a 72 and lost BEC credit using Becker. Would you recommend a Yaeger/Roger Cram course to pick up the extra points or a whole new home study program or just stick with Becker and try to hammer it out? Any thoughts would be appreciated

    AUD - 80
    FAR - 78
    BEC - 78
    REG - 72 (11/30)

    @Spectrum

It appears that Wisconsin has changed the system they use to release scores to the system that Michigan uses. Because they did that, we can no longer look up the scores through Michigan (it auto-routes through WI) and now must wait for everyone else's scores to be released before we can get ours. So it appears that loophole is closed.

    Wisconsin Candidate. NTS 450
    BEC - 82 AUD - 85
    FAR - 83 REG - 71, 86

Texas Peeps! I got my BEC score yesterday morning and FAR score today. Still waiting on AUD. I'm convinced they can only post one score per day. Wassupwithdat? Hoping for a pass on AUD tomorrow. If I go 0 for 3 in one window, I'm not sure if I can keep going. Appreciate all the great encouraging stories, but damn, this is a whip.

I didnt get my BEC score yet from CA. I got a 74 on my audit, and it felt like someone just kicked me in the nutz. But, for some reason, i didnt hurt as much as when i failed FAR with a 72. Maybe because i already build this mentality of not giving up no matter what, so i just keep on truckin. In the end, you can only go forward right?

Ok thanks, I wasn't sure if her silence was due to no news or depressing news.

California deciding to not to release scores today is going to take “Thirsty Thursday” to a whole new level…

    BEC - 83 (8/31/2010)
    FAR - 85 (11/30/2010)
    AUD - 82 (2/27/2011)
    REG - 87 (5/31/2011)

@Minimorty – Thank you. I started to feel like I was getting an ulcer last night, but today I've become a little more relaxed. I'm going to try not to think about it till tomorrow morning.

Still very happy for your pass! I look forward to following your journey. I just hope mine is at an end – 2 years is enough!! 🙂

@AcidBrains – Thanks for the update. I need to add CBA to my Facebook! Who would have thought, 5 years ago, that places like the California Board of Accountancy and NASBA would have twitter/facebook accounts!

    FAR: 71, 77
    BEC: 70, 82
    AUD: 62, 78

@kandis – thank you. I've still got my fingers crossed for your passes. I'm not sure I could deal with the slightly longer route that you have taken. My plan is to make this process short and sweet. Hoping to be done by the end of the year. We'll see!
