hkboi228 ha detto: For CA candidates, here's a comment to my question to CBA regarding REG scores: “We'll get a group of scores from NASBA overnight and we post first thing in the morning. Looks like REG didn't come in last night, but here's hoping we'll have them for you tomorrow morning.”

Bad news, but good info, thanks hk!

@TX_CPA2B — I just logged into the Texas site and still no AUD score posted.

Also, random question for Texas work experience requirement: Does anyone know if Performance Management Consulting will qualify? I do consulting for Financial Reporting System Design, Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting consulting, along with Hyperion Implementations.

Thoughts?

BEC will probably be next week because the AICPA claims they are indeed reading the written essays.

I heart the AICPA so much.

@jdj017400 – For the work requirement, you need one year experience working under a CPA. They have to sign off on it

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to gauge everyone's opinion regarding possibly appealing my FAR score for this window. I got a 73. Had a passed I would of been completely finished but now, with this failing score, I have lost credit for Reg; the first test I passed. I know on NASBA's website, it says historically no exam score has ever been overturned, but who knows if that's the truth. Do you think it's worth the minimium $600 gamble? Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. I do not lose my second passed test till March of 2012 so i have time to retake FAR and REG.

Thank again everybody!

I've heard the AICPA will only hand grade essays if your total score is close to a 75. Not sure if there is any truth to that.

REG: Apr '11 - 77 AUD: May '11 - 90

bkreis,

DON'T APPEAL! It's just another way for the AICPA to take your money and say, 8 weeks later, “naaawww, we're right and you failed”.

Use that time and money to restudy what is hopefully still fresh, and retake it.

I'm bored. I think it's time to write snarky comments on the AICPA Facebook page.

I thought CA is a non NASBA state and nothing to do with NASBA as previously when AICPA releases the score CA would post it next morning. Looks like this year everything has change. One of my fren here in CA got his passing AUD score yesterday and I am still waiting.

One thing I don't understand though if AICPA has released the scores then what the hell is NASBA doin with them.

Thanks allyson thats what i'm leaning towards but i just wanted to hear if anyone has heard any stories of scores changing. I assume its just another money grubing excuse, the AICPA hates me :(. haha.

cocacpa – I tried re-registering right after getting my score and I had to wait 24 hours. I'm in IA.

bkreis – I'm with Allyson. Don't give them any more money than you have to when there is a good chance they will still not overturn your score. I am in your same boat. I got a 74 and had I passed, I would have been done. Appealing crossed my mind, but I figured it would be timely and costly, and by the time they told me they weren't going to change it, I would start losing credit for other exams.

AUD - 82 Becker
BEC - 75 Becker
REG - 71, 82 Becker
FAR - 66,61,71,74,70 and #6 80!!!! FINALLY DONE!!! 9/20/12
Yaeger and Yaeger CRAM for the final battle!

Got my FAR score this morning – passed with 89 – halfway home. Just checked TX site and still no AUD score. My NTS was 448 for all 4 sections. Re question about essays – had a ton of calculations so had less than an hour to finish. First two were OK questions but required long answer to fully answer. Last one was terrible – general business question that was unclear due to very generic terminology. Made best guess as to intent and addressed all points in proper format but with only 2 short sentences per paragraph. Had 9 minutes to complete and finished with 5 seconds left. Crossed my fingers that that that was one that wasn't graded. Performance report said I was stronger than average on written for what that's worth. Thanks Jeff for fixing mobile issue, but I will be so glad when I have Internet again. One finger posting is way too slow plus it's hard for me to keep up with how all the “regulars” have done.

FAR 4/1/11 - 89
AUD 4/15/11 - 85
REG 4/29/11 - 80
BEC 5/13/11 - 85
