I'm getting married in a few weeks and then have a honeymoon planned after that…so obvoiusly no studying will get done for me in July. That means I have to squeeze in studying and take REG again in August if I fail because I'd lose AUD after the next window!
I thought the regsims were pretty brutal and I have taken a masters level taxation class in the past. I think the only people that might not have found them brutal are people that took the exam before and felt in comparison they weren't as bad. I studied for 7 weeks anyone study a lot longer or shorter and felt differently?
I'm in UK, so five hours ahead EST. I am debating how long I should stay up tonight to get my REGscore (NY NTS 447)…. As soon as I found out REGscores have been released, my hands turned all cold and clammy. Oh man… this is going to be a long, long night.
AUD - 94 (11/23/10); FAR - 83 (11/18/10); BEC - 76 (11/11/10); REG - 83 (04/28/11) NY NTS 447
After all these years, I can finally say I did it!!!
And HEY – Wait a sec Jeff. You're abandoning us tonight? What could you possibly have going on that is more important than our plight? Oh wait.. you have a life and a family. Right.
@meschwar- I agree. I think they do count. I wonder if they don't “matter” as much because they are so bad that very few do very well on them and so it brings the average down? I think they give points for every space filled so while you may not get the final outcome correct, you get some points for at least starting the problems correctly. It's not an all or nothing grade. if that were the case, they wouldn't have them, they would just be MCQs…
I have heard of people leaving SIMS blank, but they could've lucked out by leaving a pre-test SIM blank or did really really good on their MCQs. I don't even remember all of the SIMS I had. I just know that there were 2 that stick out as ones that I still don't even know the answers to even after going straight home from Prometric to figure it out.
