@akb9874 – called TSBPA earlier and i was told AUD scores should be posted tomorrow morning! I'm not sure if that's good or bad.. one thing's for sure though is that I'm waking early tomorrow just to know if that's true!
Pdubbs – I totally agree! You would think that a group for accountants could handle data in a more efficient manner! At this point Texas could have just posted my darn score on a board in Austin. Driving there and back to Houston would be less annoying than trying to guess when my score will be released on the website.
@socklesscowboy I learned a lot from Dan Smith in Caldwell Hall as a matter of fact
@killaking I thought I did decent on the multiple choice but the SIMs were crazy hard. I spent a lot of time digging for answers in the Code. I'm honestly stunned that I scored so high, I thought it was definitely my hardest section.
@MNCPA- I used CPAExcel for all 4 parts. I did use the Wiley book a tad for FAR, but not too much just mainly for additional MCQs. I also used Jeff's Ninja notes for BEC and REG just for supplemental materials and to help me take better notes, but 90% of my studies came from CPAExcel. I highly recommend it since it's 1/2 the price of Becker. They also break things down into 30 minute “bite sized” lessons so it's not so overwhelming. I promise I don't work for them! LOL! I'm just glad I chose them. (Although we will see about REG LOL)
As far as tips go…I went through material, did MCQ for the section I studied. Then about once a week, I would go back and do MCQs for the sections I've already studied. Once I got through all of the materials, I would do practice quizzes and exams. I averaged anywhere from 80-90 on the practice tests, but also had some 60's and 70's in there. the last week I made a list of topics that I kept getting wrong and went back and reviewed them and made flashcards that I carried with me everywhere. The last night I vegged out and watched TV. Morning of, I reviewed my flashcards and that's it.

From what I've been reading on Another71's facebook and other CPA facebook pages, it looks like they're releasing the NTS's in order…latest I've seen is 443. You're almost there QQ….I, on the other hand, am 453.
