@herbie, HIIIIIIIII!! I know, on one hand I feel like it was sooo long ago that we were stalking our scores but on the other hand it feels like just yesterday because all those same emotions come back as I read people's posts. Anywho, how are YOU doing?? Weren't you looking for another job? And did you find one?

    @Michelle, congrats!!!

@tg, how freaking frustrating being sooo close. I really think the AICPA should not give out scores between 70 and 74 because it's kinda cruel. On a positive note, you are sooooo close and I'm confident you will slay the beast the next go around, don't give up!!!!

Haze & Hav2Pass – I completely agree about the SIMS on REG. I felt better about the REG multiple choice than I did the BEC multiple choise, but the SIMS were just brutal. To have that count as 40% is worrying me.

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89

74really, hang in there. Give yourself a small break but I wouldn't walk away from the 2 you've passed. Exhaustion can really reak havoc with your psyche, but don't let it win!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

For everyone who didnt pass dont give up trust me because i felt liked ive aced exams and failed and was completely devestated. For FAR i studied with Becker and added Gleim for more MC and SIMS. I recommend Gleim because the Sims are good, they might not be the same as the exam, but they give you more reps for SIMS. Gleim is relatively cheap compared to Becker.

I recently read this message about life, so I thought my fellow CPA strivers might like it. It is a little out there and is, in reality, in context of something else but I think the message applies. A doctor wrote the following:

“Life, the way I see it is a LEARNING PROCESS where everything that you go through good or bad is a learning experience. Each one is expected to learn from it and only if you do, you progress in life,if not it keeps throwing similar situations at you time and again till you learn finally. This is an answer to all those who keep asking ” why does this keep happening to me again and again?”Once your learning is complete then you relinquish this life time and progress on to your next where you experience life all over again. You are enlightened by learning more and it goes on for many life times with the SOUL remaining constant in them all.Like I said before if you do not learn from one life time that which you are expected to learn, you go through similar situations in the next life time and it goes on and on until you learn.”

REG has awakened my philosophical sense..LOL

    BEC 86 (expires Sept'11)
    FAR 85
    REG 87
    AUD 8/27 - waiting

For Texas, I think that in past years I remember the website occasionally going down in the middle of the day (maybe around lunch), and then coming back up in the afternoon with scores, so I wouldn't entirely rule at a midday update. This was before Twitter, etc., so I'm not sure if they still do this.

Meanwhile, I'm awaiting AUD and REG scores which are the last two sections released. I'm just hoping to have both my the end of the week, but REG may not happen.

    BEC - 75 (11/2010)
    REG - 62 (5/17/2011, NTS 447) retake Jul/Aug 2011
    AUD - 75 (5/29/2011, NTS 455)
    FAR - Jul/Aug 2011

@bammerz I did the Becker FastPass in May 2010, and have been doing the self study sense then. Since my compnay will pay for me to take a Becker Live class, I'm doing that now…hopefully that will be the change I need

FAR 54, 62, 49(day of my grandpas funeral)
    AUD 36, 66, 61
    REG 55
    BEC 56, 68

@74really–as someone who has sat for this exam let's just say i think it's around 19 times…i know it's easier said than done….but if this is something you want you will work for it. This test isn't all about the knowledge but also the perseverance and the determination to become a CPA. We can do this!!

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More info on the loophole, I called because I wanted to re-reg for AUD and I received that score this morning, and FAR which I received yesterday afternoon. FAR is available for me to re-reg for and AUD is greyed out. I called to do it over the phone and the woman said that the computer has received my score but NASBA officially has not. Therefore the website will not update and “un-grey” my AUD section until either tomorrow or Fri. So this just proves the loophole really is just a matter of coincidence for most people it works for, since NASBA doesn't update that site when we receive our scores, but a few days later.

REG 81.. BEC 75 (close one) AUD 63,73.. FAR 67,74..
