To the other Texans out there….I received my BEC score this morning. I checked around 5:30 am and it was there. I sat 4/30/11. The bad news…..Corporate governance got me again. The GOOD NEWS…I PASSED! 77! I hope the rest of the scores get released soon.

I called ILBOE to see if I should sit by my computer checking my score all day…as others on this forum have called nasba and their state boards you are never sure the information that they give out. However, the lady I spoke with said that Illinois has not received all the audit scores yet (she said they only received a handful, not sure why or what that means!). She said that we can hope for tomorrow, so I am not sure if that means that no more scores will be given to them today.

I did ask if she knew if there was any particular order that the scores were given to Illinois and she said she did not know, but that Illinois posts the scores as they receive them. I don't know if this puts any minds to rest, but I just don't understand why they only release a “handful.” You think at the very least that they would do each state fully, but I guess we'll never understand/know the system!!

yankeeaccountant – I just don't know if I will ever get there. My head is so crammed full with AUD and FAR and now with BEC that I have studied for the last 2 1/2 weeks. It all runs together and in the end I am not sure I know anything.

What I have done in the passed has not worked for me – that is watch videos, read, doing a ton of MCQs (including reading all the wrong answers). I understand the material.

I don't even know how to tackle this AGAIN…

@cpastress thanks for the update.. I really hope they are not done with scores for today. How do they not address this issue during their off time? This same thing happened in the last two windows. Where there was issues in receiving the scores from wherever they get them… ughhh jaja

I really have no idea what the OAB has to do, but I do not believe the statement they have on their website that scores are immediately uploaded and all that. Sometimes it seems like they post around 10:00am following a release, and sometimes it seems like someone was on vacation like last Thanksgiving when scores were finally posted over a week after they were released to NASBA.

So all in all I dislike the OAB very much, and any time I have ever tried to call them i have been given a shady and dodgy answer.

What do you think?
