Magster- I used Wiley books so maybe you can try that since they're so cheap compared to the courses. Walmart sells them for less than the Wiley site. I also log every hour that I study so I can keep track of my total hours and compare it to my score so I'll know if I studied too little or too much. I studied about 75 hours for AUD, and focused on repeating the MCQ 2-3 times. Also, I love the CPA for Free website. I took every MCQ at least once, and it was great to study on my phone when I didn't have my book with me. Good luck!!!!
Hey guys. New to the site. Great support here. Got my score for AUD this morning around 5:30am. NY candidate. NTS 450. 83!! half way there. Keep at it guys!
Good morning everyone. Just got my last score – finally done. Best of luck to all – and keep working, keep trying. Just a bit of my story: finished the requirements to sit for the exasm at 55 years of age, took BEC last July 2nd, when I was 58. DON'T give up – I finished at 59, you can make it. Thanks to my loving husband who put up with SO MUCH. My best to all of you.
Hello everyone I am new to the site, but have been on it reading many past since I begun my CPA journey October of last year. Just want to say what a great site (great job Jeff) and like many have said before me it really helps to hear other peoples' stories and go through the highs and lows of this process together.
Also I am in GA (446) and my score is in and today is a high for me as I passed AUD with a 87…
TebowTime, I'm in OK and haven't received my FARscore yet (hopefully they will update this morning). I would say you are probably a day away from AUD- unless the OAB is feeling extremely productive today… which isn't likely.
I just got my AUD score in VT NTS 448 and I PASSED!!!!! I was so sure I'd failed. There were two questions I changed answers on and went home to find I changed them to the wrong answer. The same thing happened with REG only that time I changed 3 correct answers to the wrong one and I stopped studying (shot myself in the foot…metaphorically) so I lost credit for AUD and now I've got it back. VT has not released my BEC grade NTS 453 which probably means I failed, I don't think I did well because my essays' were very short as I had run out of time…oh well. Passing one out of two is quite a confidence booster! BTW I used Bisk for Aud and failed 3X before switching to Becker and I've now passed it 2X. Becker seems to work better for me.
Question: On Monday, NASBA let me re-register for AUD, so I assumed I failed, And by re-register, I paid and everything. However, when I checked my score, I passed AUD with a 76. First, has anyone ever had their advisory score change by more than two points? Also, will I be able to get a refund? I am truly confused. Btw, Ga- NTS 449 and TIA.
Hi everyone. I am new to the site and the CPA journey. Waiting on Auditing scores in MD. Can anyone taking the exam in MD give me the scoop on how the scores are released here?
