Ok, some of you may think this thread is crazy, but believe it or not, I’ve met a couple of people that were disappointed with their score on a CPA section even though it was passing. One person told me he was disappointed that he didn’t get higher than an 80. And another guy I know (who was a straight A student in college) wanted to hit the 90s, but didn’t.

So, I’m wondering…. Does anyone here wish they could retake a passed section just to get a higher score for bragging purposes?

My only reason for taking the exam is to go into business for myself. I'm talking door-to-door sales with local businesses, undercutting other accountants, etc. Whatever it takes. I already have the work experience requirement met, so it's just these exams and I'm set. I'll keep working my current job and build up a client base on the side until I can go into it full-time.

So, hell no. I would not repeat any section. Give me 75s for all I care!

AUD - 87
BEC - 76
FAR - 96
REG - 94

Nah..I saw my 75 on REG and was just as happy to get that as my 92 on AUD.

Passing is passing.

Haha, similar to Mini, my scores were: FAR – 86; AUD – 89; BEC – 90; REG – 78. I would be lying if a part of me didn't wish my REG score was higher than an 80 at least, BUT, never in my life would I want to retake any of the exams…ESPECIALLY REG. Screw that…75 is passing, GIMME MY LICENSE!! haha

I'm not retaking any of my sections. I was tempted to see if I can get a 100 on my ethics (could have done it!) but even that is just a waste of time. Passing is passing, time to move on.
