Just wanted to try and get a Cali thread going for those of us who are watching every other state (practically) post about their scores while we wait until the CBA decides to put ours up!

I’m waiting for FAR, I need a pass and I will be done with this thing. Who’s with me? If anyone gets any score release info let us know!

On my status information for California State Board of Accountancy website it said I attended REG on 10/08/18 when I took it on 12/10/18. Does this mean my score released is incorrect?

I took FAR on 12/10 and it says I attended on 6/29

I called earlier and I was told my score does not show on their end. It just says that I attended, but with no date. The lady told me that IT was still working on issues and to continue to check and if the correct date does not show then to call later today or tomorrow morning.

how do you practice for research questions? I don’t understand how to navigate the professional library on the AICPA website.

Try your CPA software to get a feel for it. As long as you feel comfortable navigating you should feel prepared.

89 on AUD, I'm finally done!

Congrats to everyone that passed. For you who did not, next window is yours – keep grinding hard!

After almost a year and a half my rematch with FAR was a success. 77!, I'm finally done! Its been a long 18 month journey. But it was totally worth it. To all of you that didn't pass, keep at it, be humble go over the material again, and take your time with the MCQ's. I honestly never spent my time with the practice SIMS. The MCQ's will teach you the core principals, focus on those and you will be able to answer the SIMS they throw at you. At least that's what worked for me.

@terriesilva I told my wife about you and she was rooting for you. We feel so bad, but we know that these things make us stronger. Do not quit. If your able to overcome this you can overcome anything! We admire your perseverance. You're so close. I'd definitely take a break from FAR and pass BEC. Get your confidence back up.
    We're rooting for you!

@Marcosper28 thanks! I am going to get right back on the FAR train no matter how much I don't want to because it's still fresh and I need to fit BEC in this next quarter…I have to get it out of the way because it's been my only stunbling block and I don't want it to derail me again. Just kinda having a pity party because failing it makes me feel dumb.

Where is Rob at? His time will have to continue just a little bit longer. To everyone who passed, Congratulations!!! Hard work paid off in a big way. The wait this morning and the countless refreshing of the pages was never ending, but it was worth it. To those who didn't pass, it really does suck and it stings and just have to receive support, advise from the forum and definitely not give up. The best advise comes from those like Jeff who battled and battled and completed it. The thing with these exams is that these are confidence killers and only those who persevere and dig in deep, succeed no matter how many times the failure. It's specially brutal right now because of the holidays and it's easy to just give in throw the towel call it a night, but it's in times like these that when one moves forward and goes at it again and eventually passes, that's when it all has a real meaning. It would great if life would be easy, unfortunately, it's not and it's tougher for some than others but do know that if you keep pushing and fighting then you'll eventually pass.

@terrisilva Sounds like a good plan. Do what you think its best! You're in the 70's. You are right there! At least take a little break to regain the energy to go at it again! I used to joke with a buddy of mine, Take the test until AICPA gets tired of seeing your name and gives you the pass, meaning quitting is not an option. You can do it!

Kinda Late to the party. I passed REG with a 78. Skipped 1 entire SIM problem; had no idea how to solve the problem. Only BEC remaining. Going to go full dragon ball z mode for this last one. Good luck to everyone who passed. To those that didn't, don't give up. I got somewhere in the 50's in the first REG take.
