The first two times I took the exam I did it prior to 2011. I think Reg was a whole different beast then, still difficult but I would say my 2011 exam was by far way harder.

This last time I studied with Becker. I did all the MCQs, and listened to every lecture. I supplemented Becker with listening to the GLEIM REG audio cds as well as their MCQ bank. I really focused my energies on understanding the concepts I don't use every day. I'm a tax accountant so some of the stuff I literally see every day so I didn't need to review it as heavily as say partnership basis or business law, items I don't see everyday if ever. I wrote a lot of notes and flashcards on items that I knew would be heavily tested.

My basic strategy for this exam was to really nail down the items that were weighed heavily according to Becker's outline. I honestly walked out of the exam this last time and felt like I got hit by a truck. That was more due to the simulations but remember to use the research tab it is very valuable. If nothing else it will help calm you because at least you have an outlet to look items up.

    Is studying your full-time job?

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
