To outline my CPA experience
Audit- studied for one month with Becker and passed first attempt with a 80 (Summer)
FAR- studied for three and a half months during the school year using Becker and passed first attempt with a 79
REG (1)- studied over Christmas break with Becker and spent last week before exam not reviewing diligently or doing enough MCQ and got a 67. Did not deserve to pass.
BEC- had already started studying for this when I got my failing REG score soo I finished this one up. Used Becker and NINJA MCQ for a month and passed on first attempt with an 83.
REG (2)- studied extremely diligently all of May using Becker and NINJA MCQ then did the long wait for the scores only to get a 74.
I don’t know what I need to do next to push me over the edge to a passing score. Any feedback on how to supplement this third attempt is eagerly welcomed. I am a visual learner, definetly NOT auditory, so my current plan is to reread the Becker book and redo all MC and SIMS and then drill NINJA and practice tests for my review, But I feel like maybe I need something else…? I did start rereading the book today and was pleasantly surprised by how quickly concepts were coming back to me and answered all the MC in the chapter correctly. Hoping to get NTS quickly so I can take it in Q3.
My method has been successful for the other tests and I have worked very diligently and do understand the concepts as of the second attempt. Very frustrating.
And I apologize for my scattered thoughts….. Been a rough day.
