    Hello!

I was impacted by the 2017 delayed score releases and received some 74s and missed testing windows because of having to wait so long for some of my scores. My board didn’t grant me an extension so I have resolved that I have to retake BEC because that credit expires today.

I’m retaking REG next week. Score release March 22.

Retaking AUD in Q2. Score release end of June.

Retaking BEC early August. Score release end of September.

My FAR credit expires on 08/31/2018. I will have taken all exams before this date, however, I won’t have my scores before that date. Assuming I pass all, will this still count since my exam was taken prior?

I’m a Washington candidate and all they will tell me is “we encourage you to keep taking the exam”. I have a baby on the way and I’m not going to continue this vicious cycle after that happens, so I don’t want to waste time and money all summer if my FAR score is going to expire even if I sit before it does.

I work full time, so taking more than 1 exam in a quarter makes me feel very unprepared and it doesn’t end well, I learned this the hard way last year 🙁

Most (if not all) states will look at the date that you took the actual exam and not the score release date. So in your case, you would be good as long as you pass all the sections on the first try.

That's kind of what I thought. But it would be nice to have that answer in writing somewhere because I feel like this is going to be an issue later.
