Q2 exam scores will be released August 16-18 per AICPA website. Does anybody know if passed exams will be granted additional time before the expire? Question being, if you have exam credit that will expire in August 5, and you take an exam in Q2 and fail, you will not know until after your credit expires. So are candidates required to take the same exam again in Q3 before expiration since they will not know their Q2 score in time?

There has been a handful of discussions about this on the forum in the last few weeks. You may want to search the forum. One of the very last posts had some good information on who you need to contact if you have credits expiring during that timeframe.

    AUD - 73, 72 retake 7/2/2016
    BEC - 8/20/2016
    REG - TBD
    FAR - TBD

I am so ready for this nightmare to be over. Been at this way too long.

I think the general advice is to contact your state's Accountancy Board for specific details.

From the AICPA website…”Should a candidate have a concern that the score release delay will impact their ability to complete the Exam within 18 months, he/she must contact their local state board of accountancy for guidance.”
