^thank you jdn9201. Congrats to you as well! We are finished! Just to clarify, I actually work as a governmental auditor, not in public. I'm not sure I could handle public to be honest with you! I have heard several horror stories, and i couldn't imagine studying for the CPA while working in public. Having said that, I have been busy trying to finish up an audit by the end of this week, so I have been busy. I knew if I checked my score last night, I would not have slept and would have been useless today.

Yes, do not underestimate the AL for the SIMS. For those not too familiar with it, I would maybe spend some time practicing researching and knowing where topics are. And try to save enough time for the SIMS, preferably an hour and a half or more.

Will NASBA not send you a score breakdown if you passed? I just got my score emailed to me, but it says if you failed the back page will show the breakdown, so I am assuming I do not get to see. It would still be interesting to see where I did well and where I didn't even though I passed.

^TheWheelHouse, I think it depends on what state you live in. I think I have read that there are a few states that show your score report regardless of whether you passed or failed, but I think most (like mine in AL) only show your score report if you failed. I've also been curious about what areas I was stronger, comparable, or weaker in when I passed, but oh well. I feel like I have pretty good ideas anyway.

Kanwal78, are you saying you don't have access to the Authoritative Literature? I don't know about other review courses, but I know Becker has full access to it and provides a video tutorial that shows how the AL is laid out. Otherwise, you may want to consider what monikernc stated above.

@ monikernc, jcbcpa…thanks for the info, I do have the AL. What I was saying was I just needs to get familiar with it because when I did one of the sims yesterday it took me forever to find the AL's.

@yewizzle, I am amazed how stubborn you are! In a good way, of course. The first fail hit me so hard that I gave up and did nothing for 2 years. Every time I had a conversation about the CPA exam with someone, I felt that I should have not quit but had to keep fighting.
CPA exam is the first fail in my life. All I tried to achieve in my life was achieved.

@stacy_scm, honestly, I disagree with your statement just based on my personal experience. Having 50 on your exam is a complete failure. It feels like a complete failure. I felt miserable, not intelligent, and underestimated. I know that many people claim that CPA is not the exam of the intelligence but rather of being consistent at studying, hey, but how could you feel about that kind of score?
