Has anyone received an extension on the 18 month window? DO NOT REPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS! Especially that dumb *** Minimorty!

I do not want to hear about whether you think it is a good idea or not. I only want to hear from people who have received it. You can reach out to me personally if you do not want to blog here. Respond to this with your email and I will email you. Thanks.

Jenuno- Time for that GSD puppy! Everyone likes a puppy, but said puppy will grow up to be a good TV protector. I don't even know what to say on the rest of this post, but couldn't resist the urge to plug a the purchase of a puppy.

@Sandra – lol I am currently torn between a GSD and a Shiba Inu… They both stole my heart and am considering buying both idgaf! They are both females. One of my friends told me they also get their period and stuff… can you confirm? Do they bleed n sh*t?

Easy way to tell with animals:

    Is it a mammal?

    Is it a female?

If the answer to both questions is yes, then they do.

You could get them fixed at the vet though to resolve it.

@jenuno01 Im sorry but that made my day! Yes they bleed, but get her spayed then no issue.

As Bob Barker would say – help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered.

    Might still be laughing….

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Sorry didn't mean to post twice, I think it was more how I read it then what you said. But they do bleed, but you should always have your dog fixed unless your going to breed them. IMO

    bawhahahahahhahahahah.

Female dogs go into heat every 6 months. So while they do bleed they aren't as “bleedy” as their human counterparts.

If you are going to get a young dog you'll hear lots of different viewpoints on when the right time to spay and neuter is. Personally I think spaying females before their first heat is a good idea. Males are a little trickier. If the breeding and temperament is good I think leaving them “whole” past 18 months is better… But everything should end up fixed eventually.
