18 month Window Extension

    Has anyone received an extension on the 18 month window? DO NOT REPLY IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE THIS! Especially that dumb *** Minimorty!

    I do not want to hear about whether you think it is a good idea or not. I only want to hear from people who have received it. You can reach out to me personally if you do not want to blog here. Respond to this with your email and I will email you. Thanks.

    Keep in mind, YMMV from others experiences based on state. What one state may do may not apply to another. Also, since you've already received a response to your request from your state indicating a denial, the chances of getting them to review again and change their minds are not in your favor. But good luck!

    (and btw, people will reply if they choose to, regardless of whether you want their feedback or not. Kind of the way it works on a public message board. You're welcome)

    Never dealt with the 18 mo extension, however, I like puppies. Just thought you should know.

    Dang it, I had a nice reply all typed up and my net crashed.

    I didn't extend the 18 month but I did push back my REG NTS. I had two NTS, one for REG and one for FAR when my Mom passed. Since I was so close to the exam and thought I could muscle through I chose to just move REG back three weeks or so and leave FAR. After I failed REG (turns out I couldn't muscle through), I re-sent the request to move FAR back as well. They couldn't move multiple NTS from the same request so they just refunded my money–which was effectively a move.

    All that said, fill out the documentation very very well and make sure you have a reason from their pre-defined list (loss of loved one, etc.) and send it in. The worst thing they can do is say no.

    The only thing I extended was my Becker software like twice, because it was expiring! I like puppies too!

    Btw – Someone broke in my house last night and stole my 60 inch TV and digital camera :'(( I called the cops. I feel violated. I bet it was my ghetto-a$$ neighbors. I hate them.

    You might find ONE person on here who has had it extended … and they might be long gone (i.e. passed).

    @jblevy10 if you go back to the last forum on this topic, where you posted before, about 3 or 4 posts down on the 2nd page someone does post about getting an extension

    A - 61, 91!!
    B - 78!
    F - 76!!!
    R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

    Finally done!

    This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

    Is it just me or are there a lot pissed off people on this forum lately?

    I don't ever remember being this bitter and jaded when I was still studying for these exams.
