This is me venting as I see no solution to my problem.

Passed my CPA exam in Sep 2013 (California) I have 8 years of work experience in PWC in India. My supervisor who quit over 2 years ago was nice enough to sign the experience form but my partner is being really difficult. Refusing to pick up my calls or sign the form. I can’t travel to India just to get the form signed and I am not sure if he would still sign it.

You put in 8 yrs of hard work and then people turn around and create this negativity and frustrate a person just to feed their ego. It just seems really immature.

I'm sorry that is horrible! Did you try calling HR? A friend had a similar problem and contact HR and they had the form signed by the partner.

F - 76!!!
R - 71, 73, 74, 69, 77!!!!

Finally done!

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Wow, I am so sorry to hear that. It amazes me how some people hold the experience forms hostage when they know how much we need them.

LYNYC – Yes I went through HR department I know the kind of person he is but he told HR that he is not comfortable signing such forms. Go figure as if I am trying to make him sign off his property to me.

auslaf- Yup, what's the point of all these ethics exams if people can't extend the basic professional courtesy.

Because they are not CPAs. They are both chartered accountants from India
