Hey guys I was an international student and passed the CPA exam last year with my CPA pending for 1 year experience. Later I found a job as staff accountant in a boutique CPA firm and my employer has helped to apply for a H1B working visa and now the US citizen and migration service has requested evidence to prove that my current job doesn’t need a license. In the notice the USCIS requires me to submit evidence from the appropriate authority( state board) that the beneficiary may perform the duties of the position with no license.
I’m drafting an response but the state board hasn’t replied to me yet. Does anyone know where I can find related language or help me with some language why a staff accountant doesn’t need a CPA license? Thanks very much for your help!!
