The AU's are being tested from July 2013. So use that in your Wiley book not the old one. Its not a big deal I did this exam in July and the changes aren't that much. Mostly change in terminology.

Starting on July 1, 2013, the AICPA's Clarified SAS will be tested on the Audit exam. Becker will be releasing updated materials in 2013 that will cover the Clarified SAS. You will need these materials if you plan to take the Audit exam on or after July 1, 2013.

    Hi there,

    Personal opinion (I'm international student).

I think the challenge in these subjects is how familiar you are with them. If you haven't worked in the audit field (or studied it) probably the exam will be even more difficult than other subjects that you know. The key, I think, is to invest more time studying in areas that you are weaker. In my case, audit has been my work experience long time ago!

    Wish you good luck!

I used Wiley Book and WTB for Audit and it seemed to be enough but I would get really familiar with the audit reports themselves. I even re-wrote them near my final review stage. I didn't memorize word for word but I made sure to know specific difference in wording between them. If you do all the MCQ's and SIMs in the book and blow through a bunch of MCQs in WTB you will be in pretty good shape. I am using NINJA notes/audio for FAR and I think they'd probably be a great help for AUD.
