Hello,

I am from India. Recently shifted to USA and I am taking my CPA exam. I wanted to have clarification about the following issues:-

1. Can we take experience while preparing for exam?

2. If I join a local CPA firm , how much stipend or pay will I get at the initial stage. Considering I have a 4 years of work experience in India in accounting, taxation and audit.

1. Yes, you can work while you prepare for the exams.

2. There's no one answer for this. It really depends in the area, size of the firm, job position etc.
