Hi, I’m a foreign student and I’ve earned some credits without letter grades. Long story short, I emailed NIES and asked if they’re acceptable and they refused to say because its part of the evaluation.
So there’s a credit bank system in my country that allows people to earn college credits. The conventional way of doing that is taking online courses that is worth three credits and a letter grade, but takes four months.
But people can earn credits through alternative means, and it will show up on the transcript but without a letter grade. It’s either a)Passing a one-time exam on that subject or b)Acquiring a certificate(usually easy ones) that the System pre-approved. In my case it’s the latter. I’ve earned 14 credits via certificate and it’d look something like this on my transcript:
2019/Certified Accounting Manager/-(No letter grade)/14 creditsSo the question is, would NIES accept those 14 credits? Is taking online courses and spending time a must or are alternative means okay? Please help!
