I am an Indian national residing in Bahrain. I have four year Engineering degree (passed in 2000) from University of Calicut, Kerala, India. I am Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute US, passed in 2010) and has cleared Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in 2007 from GARP, US.

I have more than 10 years of investment experience where I am required to do extensive analysis of Financial Statement of listed and unlisted companies.

Kindly advise whether my experience and educational qualification meet CPA exam and license requirement and which all States are best suited for my qualification and experience. if I am not qualified kindly mention where is the gap and how can I fulfill the requirement while I am continuing my current job.

Well all states require at least some accounting courses, I believe. Alaska might be your best bet you can sit if you have at least one year's experience. I think it has to be under a CPA but a Chartered Accountant may count. Becker has this map, which may narrow your search, but you should still look directly at the state board's websites.
