    Hello,

I am currently in the process of getting my accounting degree in Canada and am debating whether to get my CPA Canada or CPA US. I guess my main question is about getting a job in the US after completing the CPA exams. I have about 4 years of internal auditing experience and about 3-4 at a mid sized firm doing external auditing. Will this count as experience in the US? Or will I basically have to start at the bottom and work my way up again?

The experience requirements vary greatly from state to state. If you go to either the NASBA or Becker websites they've consolidated each state's requirements.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.
