Ok… so a bit of a unique situation here. I don’t currently work for Company A but I interned/worked there a few years ago over the summer (Jun-Sep), and then returned to school to finish my last semester (Oct-Dec) while working remotely as a part time employee. After I graduated, I worked at the company as a FT employee for another 9 months. I’m pretty sure I’d worked over 2000 hours there. However, I checked with the HR department and found out that my time as a PT employee and intern wasn’t on their record. I spoke to my ex-supervisor (a CPA) and the CFO of Company A and they’re both willing to sign-off on my experience. Would that work? (I’m in CA by the way)

If you worked over 2000 hours, and you have 2 names that are willing to sign off on it then I see no reason it shouldn't work.
They are not likely to ask the employer for payroll records to substantiate when you have 2 people willing to sign off.
Unless CA is different, I think you should have no problems.

PT employment record should be easy to fix, provided proof of payroll stubs to HR. They did make payroll right? So they should have the records. However being both of those people are willing to sign off, you should be fine. As long there is sign experience indicating you worked there you should be fine.

Just curious, as a follow-up…what documents would (the employer) submit to verify the experience?
I'm not there yet, but want to know. I live in NY.

    Form 4B for NY.
You should also be familiar with everything on this page…
