Hello guys,
I would like to ask if I can retake all my CPA exams in the state I want to transfer to if that state will not accept my CPA exam scores from my previous state?
Background:
-I passed FAR and BEC in New York (NY) under the 120 hour sit rule
-I want to transfer to Illinois (IL) but they won’t accept my NY scores because I passed them under the 120 hour rule (I confirmed with Board => Cannot transfer).
-I have a good reason to transfer from NY to IL but I will spare you the detailsTherefore, would it be fine to retake all Exams under IL? Do I just let my NY scores expire if I cannot transfer them to IL?
I do not think there is an option to delete my NY scores. I just think its weird to have CPA scores for FAR and BEC in two jurisdictions. Dont know if that will cause issues.
Thanks.
