interesting question….im really in NY. When i graduated college in 2004, VT allowed you to sit for the exam before getting your diploma, so i enrolled through VT. Of course, I was being ridiculously optimistic and didnt sit for any parts until 2008, so it really was a waste. Now, when i finish the exam, i will have to transfer my grades to NY and get licensed there…

Ahh, interesting… I have never really thought about it, so anyone could register for any state and take the exams anywhere in the U.S. and then just transfer once completed/meet your states requirements. I should have thought about this in regards to work experience.

Upstate NY, go to school in VT? what made you do that?

A classmate of mine thought of it so a few other of my friends and I went along for the ride. Of couse, they actually took it right away unlike me…

A diff friend of mine transfered his grade to a state that only required 1 year of work experience to get his license so you may want to look into it…
