Has anyone applied thru VA not living there?

I’ve applied, and started my journey to the CPA. My question is what will happen after passing the exams? My main concern is about the experience. I have been working in the field for 10 years, but not sure if they require the experience to be in VA or to work under the supervision of a CPA as FL.

    Any infor will be appreciated.

    Good Luck to All!!!

    Done 😉
    Class of 2012!!!!
Lots of prayers and hard work....

Do not hesitate to contact the Virginia Accountancy Board; a real, and helpful, person will respond to your email.

I just got my VA certification. The experience requirement is one year and it is wide open — government, financial or managerial experience. My supervisor who signed off on my work experience (Distict of Columbia federal government) is not a VA CPA and did not have to be one. I am a VA resident, however, so I don't know the what is technicallyrequired in that area.
