Hi everyone, thought I would share the email I received this morning from the TX board.
Board records indicate that you earned credit(s) on the CPA examination that will expire between April 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018. You may know that the format of the CPA examination changed effective April 1, 2017, and due to these changes there will be a delay in releasing exam scores and this could affect your decision to take the exam at a later date. So that CPA exam candidates are not negatively impacted by the delayed score release, the Board is granting a three month extension to all credits that will expire between April 1, 2017, and September 30, 2018. This extension will be reflected in the Board’s database and also on your personal record that is reported on the secure Online Services area for Exam Candidates on the Board’s website.
If you take a section of the CPA exam during the April 1 – May 31, 2017 testing window and earn credit, this too will be extended for three months.
Any questions or concernes about the extension of credits should be directed to the Qualifications Department at 512-305-7851 or exam@tsbpa.texas.gov .
