I’m taking the exams in California. If I don’t pass this year I will have to go back to college to qualify under next years requirements. So I basically have yet to pass REG and BEC.

If I apply twice and pay my $50 twice, can I take the same exam in one testing period? For me this would be regulation in the first week of July and if I don’t make it then again at the end of August? I also want to take BEC at the end of August and if I don’t pass once or twice in October/November. If I can take it at least twice in October/November that would easy my pain.

Any advise would be more than welcome! Thank you and good luck!

Scores never expire after all four are passed from my understanding. It's in the handbook if you read.

CA CPA - All because of the journey listed below
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    FAR - 53('10), 8/25/12 79 PASSED!
    REG - 66('11), 69('12), 12/06/12 77 PASSED!!
    BEC - 58('10), 74('12), 01/05/13 77 PASSED!!!
    AUD - 43('11), 66('12), 69('13), 74('13) 7/29/13 85 PASSED!!!!!

@ StephAV Per the CPA's FAQs (https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/faqs/faqnewlic.shtml#newlic), you must have “submitted your application and fee, and completed all requirements for licensure, including education and experience requirements” by 12/31/2013.

Do the Ethics exam in advance. You don't need to wait for your score to take the ethics exam. CalCPA only sends ethics scores to the CBA once a week, so don't be silly about waiting on this component. As for getting your REG score, I'd guess it should be released mid-December, so you'll be fine. Just have all of your paperwork ready to go, especially if SB 823 fails.

Thanks littlenumberrobot and Dave! Those were my 2 biggest concerns.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.
