Hi everyone,
I’m staying in my college town in Missouri to take the CPA exam this summer and plan to move to California for my job. I’ve passed one section and will take another one this week. The problem is that if I move to CA before getting a MO license, I won’t be able to meet the residency requirement in MO. Then, the MSCPA won’t be able to issue me a MO license.
I’m considering transferring my exam score to CA since a. I meet all CA requirements to sit for the exam and b. CA doesn’t have a residency requirement. I’ve contacted CBA and I’m waiting to hear back from them. Does anyone have any experience in transferring scores from another state to CA? Can you transfer only two sections and then reschedule to take the other two in CA or do you have to first pass all four sections?
