I received my CPA license in Colorado last year. I’m moving to Florida.
When I SAT for the exam in Colorado, I did not meet Florida’s SITTING requirements (ie 120 semester hours, 24 in certain accounting areas, 24 in general business, and 6 in business law). CO only requires 21 general business and no business law, so I took the exam while still earning a master’s degree.
I now meet Florida’s education requirements (ie 150 semester hours, 36 in certain accounting areas, 39 in general business, and 6 in business law).
Does it matter that I didn’t meet the SITTING requirements? After all, I now meet the overall education requirements…
