I passed the final section on December 2nd, found out I passed on December 18th, and completed all the necessary paper work and work experience by the 2nd of January. The Texas board website says “CPA Certification in Process” and shows my fee was received. I emailed my assigned inspector to check on the progress and he replied fairly quickly saying they were approving my license yesterday. Anyone in Texas received their license lately and can shed light on how much longer I should expect before I receive a license number and can update my email signature? I find myself checking the state website several times a day just like I did when scores were about to be released. I’m slightly nervous about the exam on professional conduct. I didn’t find it necessarily hard but you can only miss 3 questions and still pass, and I have seen others fail in the forum.
