Anyone recently licensed in Texas? My app was received last week…was sent the rules exam last Wednesday, and Thursday morning received an email stating that I had scored a 100 and my app would be submitted for “board approval”. Yesterday morning, my candidate screen was updated with work experience, ethics hours, and rules score, but still shows no name for the certificate. I feel like it could be any day now, but was just wondering if anyone else in Texas had gone through this recently and could give me a time frame.

@Audit This — Sweet! Thanks for posting this as I am in Texas and hopefully going to be going through this within 2 weeks (if this score release is good to me) and was curious on the timeline as well.

May I ask how long it took you to complete the “rules exam”? I'm assuming that's the ethics exam?

    Thanks!

    Gabe – Thanks!

Bobcat87 – I thought it was the “ethics” exam as well, but it is strictly over the Rules of Professional Conduct. 30 questions (5 are pretest), took about an hour and a half really reading each question. I probably could've done it in 30 minutes, but I just really wanted to be careful since I heard it was “tricky”. Turns out it wasn't tricky at all, and I got a 100. Good luck with the score release!

Lol 5 are pretest. They continue to still have pretest questions in everything I guess. Geez.
