I live and work in Texas (in industry, not public accounting). I’ve worked as a Controller for over a year but my supervisor, the CFO, is located in Canada and is a Chartered Accountant, not a CPA. This means that under Texas requirements my experience does not count.
I was looking at transferring my exams to Virginia and getting my license there and then completing a reciprocity application for a Texas license.
Has anyone tried anything like this, or know anything about it?
