So if I passed all 4 exams in NYS, can I get CPA license in the other states?

I’m currently living in New York State and my education made me 2 courses shy from qualify for sitting for CPA exams. I planned to get these 2 courses somewhere online and to sit for the exams in NYS.

However, according to NYS education requirement on CPA license, I had a huge deficiency on my education (about 8 courses short on accounting) to get CPA license here. So I wonder if I’m still able to get the license in some other states even though I sit for the exams in NYS?

8 accounting courses translates to approximately 24 accounting credits. I think you'll be hard pressed to find a state that is THAT much more liberal on the accounting courses requirement.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

    hi, mla! You're probably right.

I haven't done any research on that yet. Just wonder if the option exits (pass the exam in NY and get licensed in other states)?
