I just called the Board to get a status on my application and the woman on the phone told me that they have my complete application but it is currently taking about 16-18 weeks after the date they received it from the office of professions to approve them.

This seems a lot longer than most of my coworkers who have just passed.

I sent my application to the office of professions June 11. It was sent to the board early July. This means I wont hear anything until October-November time.

Is 5-6 months a normal wait from the day you first sent your application?

How long did it take you?

kashishkhing – It will take a while. I mailed my application and all 4B's to the NYS Board at the beginning of April 2014. My application was received and went to the board 4/21/14. I heard back from them 7/30/14 when they finally got to reviewing. There was an issue with a 4B (CPA didn't put his information and only signed it. ROAR!!!!) but if everything was OK, it would have taken another day.

Estimate about 5 months from when the board received your application and hope nothing is wrong.

    FAR - PASSED!
    REG - PASSED!!
    BEC - PASSED!!!
    AUD - PASSED!!!!

Pending license - COME ON NYS BOA!
