For those of us who are unfortunate enough to have to deal with the Illinois Board of Examiners over the last week the online system that we use to check our scores, apply to take the exam, apply for retakes, etc. has been down!

Talk about bad timing on behalf of the state. This is utterly ridiculous and I’m not going to sit here and have them give me the ole “it should be fixed by the end of today” bull. That is the literal answer I’ve gotten from them.

So, to put some pressure on them, I encourage all IL candidates and candidates to be (or if you’re not in IL but feel like calling them anyway), to call ILBOA and ask them when the site will be fixed, why it’s broken, how long they expect for it to be down, and if they understand the pressure/frustration/importance of the website being up.

Well, it looks like one of the huge improvements to this new site is being able to log in to it from work. Just did it now and its pretty snappy. Good job on the upgrade, but the execution could have been better.

Passed FAR with a 75! The email was misleading, thought I failed but that was just the CPA status. lol I'm glad to get this part over with and get some motivation back.

I tried to check my score online, but nothing is showing up. Anyone else having the same problem?

I am so confused and frustrated. I emailed the ILBOA and requested my score yesterday afternoon. I didn't hear anything back so I checked my score this morning on the online system which was working at the time..and saw that I narrowly failed. About an hour later I heard back from the board via email which included a screen shot saying “waiting for score” for the part I was inquiring about (FAR, 12/6). I emailed back and the lady that responded confirmed that they really had NOT received my score and said that the online system is giving people incorrect information. She also said I could email her tomorrow to see if they have received my score yet. Phew, talk about an emotional rollercoaster. I'm starting to wonder if I will ever get my score…

Well, bummer…if you reapply to take the exam right after receiving your score it says waiting for score in their system. So my grade is still FAIL. Oh well, I accepted it, time to get back at it!
