For those of us who are unfortunate enough to have to deal with the Illinois Board of Examiners over the last week the online system that we use to check our scores, apply to take the exam, apply for retakes, etc. has been down!

Talk about bad timing on behalf of the state. This is utterly ridiculous and I’m not going to sit here and have them give me the ole “it should be fixed by the end of today” bull. That is the literal answer I’ve gotten from them.

So, to put some pressure on them, I encourage all IL candidates and candidates to be (or if you’re not in IL but feel like calling them anyway), to call ILBOA and ask them when the site will be fixed, why it’s broken, how long they expect for it to be down, and if they understand the pressure/frustration/importance of the website being up.

Can someone tell me why they went home at 5?!? If I f'd up, I don't think I could just clock out at 5. Seriously get it together! Find a way to get everyone their scores.

Ahhhh…I'm too anxious for this. I agree with Derek. I've worked until 9 at night to get my work done. They should too! They've messed up 2 of the 4 score releases for me. UGH

So just because their bosses screwed up in coordinating the “update” you think the people answering the phones/emails should be made to stay late to cover for them? That's pretty harsh.

Yes actually, I think many of us have been in situations where an error has occurred but wasn't fault of our own and had to work a little extra to remedy the situation. Probably has happened to many of us for often than we'd like, but we suck it up. BTW, I'm sorry I'm just really pissed. I'm waiting on my final score and if I end up not passing I'd like to know ASAP so I have time to reschedule before losing credit for a previously passed exam by end of January.

How is having them work late harsh? Its their job…whether its their bosses fault or not someone should be correcting the problem to make their customers happy. Sucks to be the low man on the totem pole, but that's how the “real world” works.

Nothing yet. They don't open until 8:30am, but I am hoping they will immediately start replying to emails and sending out more scores! So maybe within the next few hours?
