For those of us who are unfortunate enough to have to deal with the Illinois Board of Examiners over the last week the online system that we use to check our scores, apply to take the exam, apply for retakes, etc. has been down!

Talk about bad timing on behalf of the state. This is utterly ridiculous and I’m not going to sit here and have them give me the ole “it should be fixed by the end of today” bull. That is the literal answer I’ve gotten from them.

So, to put some pressure on them, I encourage all IL candidates and candidates to be (or if you’re not in IL but feel like calling them anyway), to call ILBOA and ask them when the site will be fixed, why it’s broken, how long they expect for it to be down, and if they understand the pressure/frustration/importance of the website being up.

Oh man I still haven't gotten an email back. I wonder if they got bombarded with emails from candidates and stopped emailing. Ugh. Did you get one back jess? or anyone else other than bdmck and Spur?

NO! I was stupid and just didnt even look at the website. I was too going crazy so I emailed them asking how I could get my score seeing as the system is down and then they directed me to the website. They responded like a second after I sent it! I responded with the correct info within a few minutes and haven't heard back yet lol. Should have followed the rules in the first place! I am sure they are bombarded now.
