◆ Q. Is there any difference in the value of the CPA license, depending on which state you have it for? ◆
I’m a student in Japan applying for the CPA license (still havent taken the exams). I’m currently considering between two states:
1. Washington
2. Guam (Inactive License for now)
I heard that it is more valuable to have a license in Washington than having an inactive license in Guam. But is there any differences in value of the CPA license, depending on which state? I’ll start working from April 2015 so I’m still not sure which department I’ll be placed into in my company, which is why I’m considering to apply for the inactive license in Guam as Plan B.
How important is it when considering which state to apply for your CPA license?
Thank you!
