So I thought I read online that the scoring process was as follows:

AICPA grades then sends to NASBA

NASBA then electronically submits the scores to the State Boards.

Snail mail state board then sends them out to candidates.

However, when I called the Oregon State board on Friday they told me that NASBA doesn’t electronically send them scores. That they receive the scores from NASBA via FedEx.

So I am now confused…I knew that Oregon candidates received scores via snail mail….but I didn’t think the State Board received them via snail mail from NASBA?

Does anyone have any insight or opinion on this?

Hey RalphDoggy,

I didn't sign up – I just emailed Kimberly at the board a couple times inquiring if my scores had arrived.

I sure hope the scores are going to be released electronically! That will save us (and the board) a lot of waiting and time!!

duckmo, I'm also expecting a score this window. Hopefully this is my last exam and the wait is killing me! I was planning on calling at some point next week to see if scores are in. I'll post what I hear. If you hear anything could you update this thread too?

Hello All,

I was able to speak with someone at the Oregon board today – they indicated the scores had not yet arrived from NASBA, and it will likely be Thursday or Friday before they do.

However, I also received an update on the electronic release of CPA scores in the future – they said the board is working day and night to try and get that up and running. That should be great for not only the anxiously waiting CPA candidates, but for the board as well!

duckmo – thanks for your update! I am sure you passed AUD and you won't have to look at the studying materials again!!

I am now waiting for the score in the mail as I decided not to call/email since I failed last time! Don't want to be like “oh it's you again, you failed again” lolz… I think the mail should arrive early next week…

Thanks for the update duckmo! And thanks to the other Oregonians that posted. It makes the wait a bit easier to endure knowing that there are still candidates besides me anxiously awaiting their scores for this wave.

Chess – I'm sorry to hear that… failing sucks, I told myself if I failed AUD again, I might just forget about the whole CPA thing…

maybe you should change the way you study, not sure what review course you use or how you study. I can't give you much advise as I only took AUD before, the first time I studied the Becker textbook, take notes, and supplement with some MCQs with Wiley book, 2nd time I only review my notes, redo Wiley book MCQs, and MCQs using Wiley Test Bank, and redo any MCQs that I got wrong the first time. A lot of people say repetition is the key and that's true cuz it helps to get things stick to your head…. good luck to you next time! Never give up if this is your dream.
