Prior work experience in CA

I am in CA. I just finished all four exams, but I only have 10 months experience. Can I request my prior employer to submit the certificate of work experience to the board even though I need experience of two more months?

Will the board keep my record until they receive my additional experience certification?

One more question, should I submit the license application form after I fulfill 12 months experience? or can I submit it now and send the board additional work experience certification later?

You should call the state to find out for sure.

Considering how close you are, I think you should have them send it.

Just out of curiosity, how many hours did you work in those 10 months?

I know they say a year, but they are looking for total number of hours worked, so if you worked a lot of OT then you maybe fine.

The only note I can find right now is that 170 hours =1 months worked to the CBA. So if its 170 x12 = 2,040 hours worked in ‘a year' and you worked that many hours in 10 months you maybe fine.

But do look into it with the CBA.
