The wording for who has to submit the AECR is confusing to me. I had my 150 credit hours before I initially signed up to sit for the exam. Does that mean I don't have to submit it?

    AUD: Attempt 1: 60; Attempt 2: 78
    BEC: Attempt 1: 75 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 80
    FAR: Attempt 1: 74; Attempt 2: 74; Attempt 3: 78
    REG: Attempt 1: 76 (lost credit); Attempt 2: 68; Attempt 3: 80

Are you applying for a non-reporting license? If NOT, I do not think you have to apply for the AECR. You've already met the requirements for a license.

If you're applying for a non-reporting license and do not have the experience, then I believe you would have to apply for an AECR because you need the master's.

But this is how I'm reading the requirements.

    R - *77*(02/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    A - 71('11); *87*(04/'13)-Becker & NINJA
    F - *76*(08/'13)-Becker & NINJA - "server upgrade" survivor
    B - 60('11); *82*(10/'13) -Becker & NINA

    DONE, DONE, AND DONE.

That's what is confusing to me. I'm applying for the non-reporting license and when I applied to to sit for the exam, I already had my MBA and submitted that transcript as well as my undergrad transcript.

    HMMMM….

Yeah, that's not even addressed in the application. It's worth it to ask in this situation (the Board, I assume?) You don't want to spend $100 getting an AECR when they technically already know that you have your master's degree.

I don't know why they can't just make it easy to understand.

    I sat before I had 150 credits.

I passed all 4 exams before I had my masters degree.

Still I never went to the NASBA website, I downloaded the app straight from the MA.gov website and sent it in with my transcripts.

I have a license now. Granted it was over a year ago but I really don't think you NEED to do the AECR. I never did personally.

    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

That's a good point too. I did read that you would be notified if any of your materials were missing when you apply for the license. I suppose I could just wait and see after applying without the AECR.

Firstly, I didn't mean to confuse any one here-what I said was my on-going experience.

My suggestion is–call MA board again, tell them your situation and ask them if you need a AECR. I think they must know something here. If they don't, you can call NASBA MA coordinator since they are in charge of AECR.

For congratulation letter, well, I don't think it is necessary because when I called Board of MA and NASBA, they directly told me that the most important letter for me was AECR, not that “congratulation” letter. On the second page of the congratulation letter basically has same information as the one on the APP.

since you mentioned “missing documents” situation, I suggest you read the APP again and you will find on the first page, it said that don't mail your stuff separately. On the last page, it said” they will inform you by MAIL”… So it is better to confirm what you need to submit before you mail out your APP.
