If yes, you can go to the link below to find out what you need…

    https://www.mass.gov/ocabr/docs/dpl/boards/pa/apnonrep.pdf

Since when I sat for tests, I was still in my graduate school. So to get my AECR, I had to apply on NASBA website and paid 100 USD and mailed them my final transcript. It took me about 4 weeks to get “eligible” status report which is AECR.

Then I mailed my reference letter, my final transcript, AECR, 175 USD check and notary to MA board. It takes 4-6 weeks to get the license at least the document says so…now I am waiting to hear back from MA…

    Hope it helps~

Please note: shan is an international candidate getting his MA CPA so there are extra steps to be followed (the $175 to NASBA). I live in MA and have my Non reporting license. You should be able to just print out the app that SHAN linked to , fill it out and send it in ASAP.

In ma, new licenses are granted at the board meetings which are held 10x a year (I believe) You need to get your completed app to the board 10 days before the next scheduled board meeting to be considered at that meeting. so the length of time varies. You can find a list of all of the board meetings online.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

@mrogovitz–If you fall into ” AECR required”, yes, you have to get it.

There are some details regarding who should submit AECR on the application document (the link I sent you). You can read it first.

You also can call MA board and they will tell you what you should get before you mail the stuff. 🙂
