Possible College Credits Wont Count …?

Hi – i am a CPA candidate and have already gotten my 21 accounting hours from my undergrad degree. I then took some Becker review courses through Devry University in order to help prepare and also to receive more accounting credits in order to fulfill the education requirement. Will my credits from Devry count? For example, i took the Becker review course for Regulation and i took an upper level tax class back in college. Will my Becker course not count since it is essentially reviewing the same materials as my college class? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Starting right now I'll be strong
    I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

Your best bet would be to contact your State board and ask them directly…but in California, I was told that as long as the classes are at two different institutions, they will count as separate credit. For example, I took Accounting 1A (yes, I was lazy) at my local community college after confirming with the board that it would not interfere with the credit I had already earned from my undergrad accounting classes.

Definitely check with your State Board. In Colorado it wouldn't count.
