I moved from Florida to New York recently, and have so far completed 2 of the tests. Do i have to file any documents/applications or anything to take test in New York??? When i went to sign up for my third test today, The application asked me for my address . I wasn’t sure what to do since the test says its in under Florida Jurisdiction.

If anyone has been through this recently, Please let me know what to do. Thanks

No need to fill up any application, its a uniform exam, you simply need to find a prometric center that is closer to you.

I'm registered with Delaware but I take my exams in Colorado. hope this helps.

    REG -63│ 84!!
    BEC- 59│70│ 71 │78!
    AUD- 75!

If I understand correctly, you're asking for the address? Just put wherever you want your mailing address to be. Personally, I used my parents address while sitting for the exam (though it was all in the same state).

If you have family living at your “old” address, I would just use the same one. It makes life a little simpler, and nothing will get to the wrong person. If no one lives at your old address, just put your current mailing address.

The state you “sit” for the exam is independent of where you are physically located.

Someone please correct me, but I THINK you have to sit for all your exams in the same state (i.e. “sit” for all 4 exams as a Florida candidate). If and when you pass them all and apply for license in New York, you will have to “transfer” your scores to NY. I imagine this is a relatively easy process, as tons of people go to school in a different state than they work, or move while still taking the exams.

I think @fuzyfro89 is correct. I am taking my exams as a TN candidate but live in VA and will be getting my license there. The state board says its fine I just have to have the TN board forward them my scores after I pass all four.
