I’m in CA and I’m thinking of taking the exam in Las Vegas during the week (drive night before, cheap hotel rooms, NO gambling night before) and I know we can take exam in any state but I was curious has anyone actually done this and had any troubles with their CA scores? Just curious.

Didn't do that, yet.

But my birthday is September 1, I'm not working now and I was thinking of taking all 4 parts during the July-August window, if I get my NTS soon, that is.

My last part would be taken on Aug 31 and I could take it in Vegas and then stay there the whole weekend to celebrate it (and my birthday).

That would be the only fun part about the cpa exam….. 🙂

It all depends on when I get approved and can sit.

But I do not work as we speak, so I made this my job.

Obviously, it also depends on how I feel while studying other parts.

FAR, although extremely long, has been relatively easy so far, since I've always worked as controller/cfo and JEs, consolidated worksheets, inventory, leases, allowances, etc were part of my daily routine.

BEC shouldn't be that new either.

REG would be more of a challenge and definitely AUD will be a challenge, for me.

Plus, I said taking all parts. Passing them is TBD. 🙂

I would kill for some extra time to be able to do this. I had to use up most of my vacation for this year to do extra studying for my first section
