PA license question (experience req)

    I noticed that the actual rules in the code for PA state that 400 hours of the 1600 hours must be in attest. This requirement isn’t listed anywhere else, like the AICPA’s FAQ section, nor is it one I’ve ever heard mentioned. They didn’t mention it when I spoke with the state board.

    Is this a thing? An unenforced rule?

    I've also seen no mention of, or reference to, the ethics exam others have mentioned in anything PA related.

    PA got rid of the attest requirement a few years ago. I do not think they have an ethics exam either.

    Thanks 1day! I wish they'd update/amend the code they link as requirement.
